Monday Night Bachelor Recap
Welcome to my first blog!
What better way to start it off then to talk about The Bachelor? I am a very
avid watcher of the reality TV show and would love to share my thoughts about
what happened in Monday night's episode. The second episode kicked off with Peter
determining Hannah Brown’s fate. If you don’t know who Hannah Brown is, she’s
what I like to call a reality TV show hog. She was a contestant on Colton
Underwood’s Season 23 of The Bachelor but was eliminated in week 7. Hannah went
on to be The Bachelorette to kick off Season 15. Long story short, Hannah
walked away from Season 15 with no ring and a broken heart.
Peter was torn between asking
Hannah to join the remaining contestants or sending her home as she did to him
during The Bachelorette. I am not the biggest Hannah Brown fan, so I was glad
to see her go. The group date was canceled due to the ongoing love fiasco. With
no rose given out during the short group date, everyone's intentions and hopes were high during the cocktail hour. Sydney locked down the rose because she opened
to Peter about how she has been bullied in the past.
Now, the moment that made
all the previous drama fights and unnecessary tears worth it, the Champagne
incident. For a quick background, Kelsey brought a year-old bottle of Champagne
from her hometown to the mansion to share it with Peter during a special
moment. Kelsey set up the Champagne bottle, lit candles and a cozy blanket by
the fireplace. Next thing you know, there’s a noise that sounds like a bottle
of bubbly being popped. Hannah Ann is now labeled as the “Champagne Stealer,”
and she expressed she had no idea. My least favorite person on this season is
Hannah Ann, so I don’t believe that she didn’t know about Kelsey’s Champagne
setup. After Kelsey calmed down and wiped her many tears, she and Peter found
another bottle of Champagne. Peter suggested drinking straight from the bottle,
and just imagine a Champagne shower happening all over Kelsey’s face. I'll actually help you out, and link it here so you can see the embarrassment for yourself. If you want to save yourself from all the female drama, skip to the timestamp 5:08 to witness the Champagne fountain of doom.
While heading into
the rose ceremony, tensions were very high. Madison, my absolute favorite,
Sydney and Kelley have secured their roses and sit tight to hear everyone
else’s fate. Lauren, Payton and Courtney were sent packing. These were the
highlights and dramatic moments of this week’s episode. If you’re apart of Bachelor
Nation, who is your current favorite?
Hi Paige! I am loving the Bachelor recap blog. I think I laughed at the champagne incident the entire episode. I can say I am not a Hannah Ann fan but I absolutely love Madison, Kelly, and Sydney! Thank you including the link so I can re live the drama again.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this recap. I am not a fan of reality TV shows myself, but I love hearing about the drama from it. This is a great way for me to stay up to date without actually having to deal with the girl fights!
ReplyDeleteNever thought I would actually be interested in watching a reality TV. Sounds like it can definitely be funny and drama filled for sure.
